If you've seen the Oscar-winning movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, you'll know that this spectacular new musical tells the hilarious and heart-warming story of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus (named Priscilla) and take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. These larger-than-life characters go in search of love and friendship, but end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed!

Much-loved Australian actor Tony Sheldon repeats his award-winning performance as Bernadette and is joined by Britain's very own adopted Aussie Jason Donovan as Tick and handsome young leading man Oliver Thornton as Adam. Helping out when things threaten to get out-of-hand is Clive Carter as Bob, the mechanic.

On stage, well there's a £1m scene-stealing bus, 500 outrageous costumes from the movie's Oscar-winning designers Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner and 28 of the most glamorous and talented performers the West End can muster, performing dance-floor classics including I Will Survive, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Shake Your Groove Thing, Don't Leave Me This Way and Finally.

Due to occasional coarse language parental guidance is recommended for children 15 years and under. Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Jason Donovan will be on holiday from 24th August 2009 to the 7th September 2009 and 25th October to 2nd November 2009.
